I have been lucky enough to get to do some freelance creative development work for Nickelodeon’s sports content, including leading brainstorms on their Emmy-winning NFL Wild Card broadcasts as well as their weekly NFL show, “NFL Slimetime”. It was an absolute blast getting to come up with ways to incorporate their legendary IP that I grew up with into a sports broadcast and I hope I get to continue coming up with stupid ideas for them.

This is one of the episodes of NFL Slimetime that I was a graphics producer on. I also led creative development of this series, and was tasked with coming up with segment ideas, ways to incorporate IP, and ways to make football more exciting for the Nick audience.

And these are highlights from Nickelodeon’s first foray into a live playoff broadcast of a major sport. I spent the summer of 2020 leading brainstorms and coming up with hundreds of ideas for segments and figuring out how the general broadcast would work and differ from your average NFL broadcast. The show went viral immediately and won a Sports Emmy later that year. It was an absolute blast to work on.
